In August and September 2023 it was carried out the International Comparison of Absolute Gravimeters (ICAG23) at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service, National Geodetic Survey's Table Mountain Geophysical Observatory (TMGO), Colorado, USA.
This event is registered and recognized by the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) and supports international efforts to connect absolute gravity instruments for metrological and geodetic purposes. BIPM is the sole agency responsible for a worldwide set of consistent and rigorous measurement standards. Through its official designation as "CCM.G-K2.2023", the comparison at TMGO will further the BIPM's goal of a robust, global gravity network.
The comparison is organized in accordance with the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) document BIPM MRA-G-11 of the Consultative Committee on Mass (CCM) and Related Quantities and is registered with the BIPM as CCM.G-K2.2023.  All agencies with absolute gravimetric capabilities are welcome to participate in the comparison.
Personnel from the Argentine German Geodesy Observatory (AGGO) and the German Cartography Agency (BKG) participated in this event.
